A good hafted axe collected in the Bundaberg area of Queensland in the 1930's by a Jack Walter Samuels who worked with the local Aborigines at that time. The handle is lawyer vine and the stone head is nicely shaped with a good cutting edge. Size of the stone head is roughly 3" by 3" and the handle is 13" long.
