This great boomerang was painted by famous Maningrida indiginous artist "George Garrawun" and was aquired by a nurse working at Maningrida settlement in the 1970"s. As can be seen the painting depicts catfish in a stream and is of the same style as is found on traditional bark paintings. An extremely nice example which is 23" in length.
