A pair of firesticks which are used by rubbing one stick between the palms of the hands with the end of the stick in the recess at the end of the other stick The friction will make dry grass around the recess smoulder then catch fire which in turn is fed with bark or twigs. The ends of the sticks are kept in a seed covered holder to keep them dry when not in use. Length overall is nearly 30"
