A lower Sepik river spirit mask collected by a government worker in 1963. The mask has cowrie shell eyes and is painted in natural ochres with a great ancestor face on the forehead that has very small trading bead eyes. There is a chip broken off the nose of the small ancestor face but apart from that it is in very good condition. The mask weighs 6lb and is 26" * 9". PRICE: $85USD |
