A good example of a fighting pick collected in the 1960's in New Guinea and with the usual cassowary toe nail at the sharp end. The shaft is decorated in natural ochres with very well done cane binding holding the shaft to the handle. The handle is 28" long and the head is nearly 15" from tip to tip.
